Lenses for your phone?!  Holy coolness!  Check it out … is it my birthday yet?

Update on my results
I’ve heard back from 2 doctors.  The NYC doc confirmed I do have MS and that if I want to continue my treatment in NY, he’ll refer me to a good specialist who would put me on a good treatment program.  I also heard back from the Chicago doc {who undiagnosed me}, doesn’t believe the report … he doesn’t think it’s correct.  And that I should see him in December for more blood work and another MRI.  I’ll just be keeping my thoughts on that whole sitch to myself.  But yeah.  I won’t be seeing him again.

I haven’t heard back from our neurologist friend.  And I have an appointment with my original MS doc {who diagnosed me} next week.  It’s just my regular follow-up appt. that I made before any of this craziness started and I never canceled.  So I’m planning on going, talking to him, bringing my report and explaining what I’ve been doing the last few months and see what his thoughts are.  I’ll keep you posted!

Homeschooling
I’ll share more on this next week … but yeah … just added it as a category on my blog.  Oy!

Still praying for you my friend. I am actually going to be doing some homeschooling with my littlest one this year. She only has preschool 3 afternoons a week so I am going to do school with her at home the other two days. Can’t wait to hear about your new category.

girl. i’m telling you, we are soul sistas :) i am working on a series of post to introduce homeschooling to MY blog, too! :) crazy. I’ve barely brought it up before now (and dont’ know why I’m so scared to), but plan to very soon. Just didn’t want to put all my info in one post because it would be sooooo long. Breaking it up a bit. :) can’t wait to read more…… and, praying for you! how could that one dr. come up with that? I mean, what are his reasons…ugh! turmoil and confusion, that is what this would be causing me….

Praying for you – I am sure this unknown stuff is hard. And lonely :(

I plan on homeschooling my boys – can’t wait to hear what you have to say on the subject!

And I keep meaning to tell you… I was so inspired when I saw that you donate half your photography profits to charity that I have committed to something similar. 50% of my profits go to missions. I currently only do photography for homeschoolers and am not very busy (which is how I want it!) but eventually I am hoping the amount adds up and that it can be used to help others.
Thanks for the encouragement in that area :)

I wish I had the words to take away your confusion & frustration but I’m afraid I don’t. I can’t even imagine how crazy this ordeal is making you! All I know for sure is that there is a reason for it. You may not know what that is for awhile but this is happening for a reason. You continue to be in my prayers & I hope you get a diagnosis soon that several doctors can agree on. Huge virtual hugs!

blinking awesome! i don’t have an iphone, but to think there’s lenses for ’em, well that’s just cool. =)

yeah the doc that undiagnosed you? i don’t blame ya for not going back. i did the same with the doc that undiagnosed my long-standing PCOS…and then when i had trouble with excess hemorrhaging & extended menstrual cycles CONSTANTLY (as in hardly more than a few days in between each new onset) last fall and she just shrugged and said she wasn’t concerned? yeah, her i kicked to the curb! in a bad way. more power to ya. we patients need to stand up for ourselves more. enough is enough.

Booooo on Chicago and HIP HIP for NY!!! I, of course, don’t want you to have MS. HOWEVER! I also don’t think it’s fair for you to have to wait and wait and wait until all these “geniuses” figure it out! I’m happy that you’re going with what your HEART says and that you are working on helping yourself without some fancy Chicago dr’s go ahead! YOU ROCK GIRL!

I think you should go with the majority and your gut instinct on your diagnosis. My prayers for a cure for MS and for you!

I’m looking forward to hearing more about homeschooling. You are a brave, awesome mom!!

Homeschooling— I can’t wait to see your ADVENTURES… as much traveling as you do you’ll be taking an educational field trip every month— I know you’ll create a fantastic learning environment for your girls!! I feel for you with your results— I can’t imagine the wild medical ride you’ve been on.
