counting joy {452-472}

Receiving God’s gifts is a gentle, simple movement of stooping lower.

The humble are the laid-low and bowed ones, the surprised ones with hands open to receive whatever He gives.

The humble live surprised. The humble live by joy.

Ann Voskamp, one thousand gifts, pages 171 & 170 respectively

    you make me smile <3
    and #467 reminds me that this is a blessing to both hearts!
    but what your list does most to me, as i recall the week, is reveal that our lives are entwined, even though we have yet to share that big cup of coffee across the table!
