Okay … on to business! God is SO great! And so are all of you! Thank you, thank you! I was able to pull bits and pieces from all your support yesterday to help me really think through my decision. Still not an easy decision, but in my heart of hearts, I knew what I needed to do.
Nothing has felt right about the offer from this guy. But still so hard for me to pull the trigger!
When … late last night, I get an email from an interested party. Someone I know. Someone I know loves the store. We’ve had many talks about the store and her love of it. I just never knew she loved it that much.
I can’t share right now who it is, or what the details are. I want to say though, that I’ve had a specific prayer … a specific question to God. And he absolutely answered it … right down the the very last detail. Because of confidentiality, I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to share that specific prayer, or the specific details {and that kills me because I am not known for my sense of being quiet … if I have a feeling, I throw it out there}. But please know that my God is faithful.
Anyway.
I am very excited about this new development … very excited. I can’t wait to share more. I’ll be talking to this person more over the next few weeks. I’ve sent a note to my broker letting him know that I won’t entertain any more offers from this guy. And at this point, I am holding off on liquidation.

So glad you’ve let that crazy offer/crazy guy go…I mean really…if you are going to have to be at the store for the next 2 months FULL TIME why not keep it. There is such a thing as {training the new people} and CRAZY. He doesn’t know the difference. ;-)

That is so awesome, I knew you would go with your heart and it will pay off for you. The power of prayer is amazing. I guess I need to do more of it! I am so happy for you and know that in the end you will be able to hand over the keys with no after thoughts at all…
This is so amazing and exciting. We all know the passion you have for your business so to find someone who will care for it and love it as you do has to bring some comfort to your decision. We will pray that this works out for all involved (you, the propspective buyer, and your employees)!!!
