Last summer I had the blessing of turning two online friendships into real … face-to-face friendships! These two women are incredible. Simple as that!
Kate lives close, so we’ve been able to get together a couple of times since last summer … we’ve even had the chance to get our kidlets together! But Katherine lives a couple states away … so meeting up with her ain’t that easy.
So … when we had the chance to get together this past weekend … we had to think of something fun, fun, fun! This time … instead of bringing out the cameras and coming up with a project … we thought it’d be best to remain chill. Great decision as far as I’m concerned.
We also had Kate’s recent birthday to celebrate. How best to do that? With a suite at the Pennisula of course! Complete with balloons, gifts, cupcakes, room service and snacks!
I feel so incredibly blessed to call these amazing women friends. We shared tears, laughter, stories and FOOD! Is that a perfect storm for girl-time or what?! We SO lost track of time that Katherine missed her scheduled train home!

{oh! and p.s., katherine made these little clown lens thingys for us! you put them on your lens to make your littlest clients smile … but heck! we sure were gettin’ a kick out of ’em too!}

What a wonderful way to spend the day! Lee surprised me with a night there several years ago and it still ranks as one of the best places we’ve visited. The food looks way yummy & I love the how happy y’all look :-)
