my crazy!
What’s this all about you may be wondering? In a nutshell … the epitome of my life. My very crazy {but blessed!} life.
And let me just say … I’m thrilled God’s given me a sense of humor about my crazy!
You see … most days, my children go about their business and our errands in their pajamas. On our recent Disney trip, they were the kids walking around in slippers. I mean, come on … I’ve got bigger battles to conquer!
But back to the photo on top … we were on our way to church, I had five girls … one was a sleepover guest … CJ was out of town … and for whatever reason, we were scrambling as usual. I mean … when you get the kids dressed and ready, tell them to get jackets and Bibles and head to the car … you expect them to all have shoes on … right? Reasonable request, or is it just me?
We get out of the car at church and Piper’s missing a shoe. Like literally, doesn’t have it. She got in the car with only one on. Fortunately … for some crazy reason … Wynter had a 5-toed sock in the car … not two, just one!
The moral of this story … if you ever see a child at church sportin’ any of the above looks … just smile politely and realize they’re livin’ in some sort of crazy!

That one shoe photo is killing me! Seriously…you would think you’d end up with two shoes or none at all right? Too funny!!!!
I love this! I’m so glad I’m not the only one living in crazy! :) Enjoy your holiday.
ok, that is just cracking me up! too funny! sounds sort-of like my life. :)
best story… EVER!
time and again, i love the way you look at your crazy life. and the many ways God can force us to throw up our hands and just live in the moment, tossing aside our plans for His!
totally reasonable request/expectation, btw. but it’s the same crazy here with our daughter too, and she’s 13! oy. middle of winter, several inches of snow on the ground, and the girl “forgets” she needs a coat AND shoes! hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. ::hugs::
