national stationery show {day one}

Old habits die hard … once a paper freak, always a paper freak!

So here I am, in New York at the National Stationery Show.  I wasn’t sure how I would feel about it.  It was hard coming into it, but oh how I love paper … I fell right back into my old ways … falling in love and being inspired by all the pretty booths and designs.  Absolutely, old habits die hard!

Here are some of my favorite picks … Chewing The Cud … I had just brought some of their greeting cards and journal into the store, so was super excited to see them at the show.  They had a beautiful set up and I love the packaging on their boxed goodies!

Here’s a new line I haven’t seen before … Overdue Cards … cute!  Who doesn’t love the nostalgia of library cards?  But my favorite are the cards shown below … a cardboard-like look and sassy sentiments … “hell is real” … :)

Smock … you have to feel this stationery in your own hands to truly appreciate it.  I picked this line up last year at the show and brought it into the store.  There was just a small offering at that time … but now she’s got gift wrap {double sided!!}, greeting cards, expanded her stationery line and changed her packaging … all beautiful!

This line is the ‘baby’ of Amy Graham {the Graham of Snow & Graham}, who’s gone on to design her own beautiful line.  Printed on bamboo paper, letterpress … and more than lovely!  Equally as lovely as Amy herself … I truly enjoyed chatting with her yesterday …

I’ve got lots more where this came from … but I gotta get my bootie going right now!  I’m having a tendency to run late … which caused me to miss Jessica Biel yesterday!  Boo!  She’s staying in our hotel and I missed it!

Til later …
