things i’m lovin’

A few things I’m loving right now that I thought I’d pass along …

New Rice Krispies Treats packaging that you can write on!  What a great way to encourage your kids during the day!

Homestyle mac & cheese!  Seriously.  Try it.

Turtle Chex mix … it’s found me again

Lastly, I keep this snack bin in our pantry and I thought I’d share the premise with y’all.  It’s filled with easy snacks, but nothing too heavy or sweet that would fill the girls up or ruin appetites.  When they’re complaining they’re hungry, I direct them to the bin and they can help themselves to something.  It’s also come in handy this week while packing lunches for camp!

So … your turn!  Anything in particular you’re lovin’ these days that I should give a try?  Inquiring minds want to know … :)

Plain yogurt with a sprinkle of raspberry lemonade crystal lite stirred in! It’s delicious and refreshing :)

Forever, when I see a bag-o-turtle chex mix, I will think of you and smile.

do batting cages count? cause seriously, this week they’re my best friends! aside from jr grange camp trainings & evening volleyball practice & youth group and today-sat’s basketball tournament, this week (M-W) daisy has had basketball practice from 10a-noon and in those afternoon/evenings she’s had softball games two cities over. therefore, since i’ve had in-town shopping to do, and i hate the yo-yo’ing of running home & back & home & back, she and i have shopped the boring shopping trips and lunch and then killed time at the batting cages one town over so we’re still in close enough proximity to the farthest town so i feel like i’m not wasting gas. not only is it saving both her & i from boredom and time-suck…but she’s so much more confident when she steps up to the plate! hoorah!
so THAT’S what i love lately….. that and golden grahams s’mores snack bars! they’re better than a candy bar in my humble opinion (even though technically i’m allergic to many of the ingredients…. its my least guilt-inducing of my guilty pleasures, lol).
