CJ and I are out of town for a bit celebrating his birthday & our anniversary … both on May 5th. We’re back at the same place we visited last year … you can read about it here.
And here I am, once again, finding myself running ragged with too many things on my plate. I struggle for that seemingly unattainable word … balance. But aren’t we all?
I know a lot of women right now that seem to be carrying the weight … holding up our families. And it can be downright exhausting!
I feel blessed to be able to get away like this … and with my hubs to boot. But here’s the thing …
I feel like a broken record, but what I need to be better about is taking time to recharge my batteries when I’m at home too … not just by getting away. How ’bout you? Do you need to recharge? Any favorite things you’d suggest I try? I think I get all kinds of ideas, but I fail in the area of being consistent and disciplined with it. I tend to sometimes let life bowl me over … humpf.

Maybe while I’m doing these things over the next couple of day … I’ll also come up with a home “recharging” plan that’ll stick?
