are you good enough?
I have a feeling there are many of you who lack faith {complete trust and confidence} in believing you are deserving of all His promises. In the very quiet place of your heart … you don’t truly believe you’re good enough.
That’s the bad news.
The good news is that you’re wrong … and my mission this month is to show you!
A couple of nights ago, as I was reading devotion to the girls … I thought of all of you.
I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
Jeremiah 31:3 {NLT}
That is HIS promise! “With unfailing love.” Unfailing. Love. I encourage you to spend a moment to let that sink in. Not your mind … let it sink into your heart.
The devotion goes on to say …
I love you with an everlasting Love. It has no beginning and no end. And it never changes.
It is impossible for you to completely understand My Love. You tend to see Me and My feelings the same way as you see your own. Your feelings change. Friends come and go. Anger can make you feel less love for someone, while happiness can make you feel more. And in the back of your mind, you wonder if I am that way too.
I am not. There is nothing you can do that will change My Love for you. if you mess up, I am sad but I don’t love you less. If you do something wonderful for Me, I am happy but I don’t love you more. My Love is the same yesterday, today, and forever. And it’s bigger and deeper than you could ever imagine! So let Me love you … always. ~Jesus Calling: 365 Devotions For Kids
Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Hebrews 13:8 {NLT}
Oh how I wish I could reach through this screen to encourage each and every one of you with this very important truth … you are enough.
There is nothing.
Nothing you can do, that will change God’s unfailing love for you.
He does not punish us for all our sins;
he does not deal harshly with us, as we deserve.
For his unfailing love toward those who fear him
is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
He has removed our sins as far from us
as the east is from the west.
Psalm 103:10-12 {NLT}
He created you. He knew you before you were born. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. He knows the number of hairs on your head.

The thing with God is … it’s not about what we do. It’s about what He did.
All He asks is that we take the gift He’s offered and believe in His promises. They are after all, for us!
