teeter-totter injury

Hunter’s been a bit obsessed with band-aid’s lately.  I know all kids go through it.  Heck, I still enjoy an occasional fix!

Anyway.  The other night, after I’ve got her all snuggly and tucked into bed … she starts crying and whining about some invisible owie that desperately needs a band-aid.  Humpf!

I go get one.  Come back.  And she’s out like a light!

So when she comes home a couple days ago with this story … I had to share it with y’all!

In case you didn’t understand her … the jist of it is … she was at recess playing on the teeter-totter.  Then she bounced.  And the before-mentioned playground equipment attacked her foot … resulting in the need for a band-aid.

Is there a cuter kid on the planet? I don’t think so! She is so adorable, and band aids *are* kinda fun.

I love that she takes breaks in her story to smile big and flash the charm!!! I’m guessing she may have gotten more than one band-aid with that tale! :-)

Our daughter Nya (5)is obsessed with band aids too. Last year for her birthday she casually opened and thanked people for expensive toys, but then went haywire when her aunt gave her a $3 box of Sponge Bob band aids. You’ve got to love it. :-)
