you’re my pot o’ gold!

We’re gettin’ our craft on up in here!  I was in love with this project I found on Tip Junkie!  Unfortunately, I worked off the photo in the post and didn’t actually click over to the original project submission.  {slapping my head}  Sure wish I had though!  I think it would’ve saved me a bit of time!  Anyway, here are directions to what I did, and include both a download from me, and a link to the original download.

materials:
yellow & white cardstock
pretzel bags
rainbow twizzlers
gold coins {chocolate best!}
double-sided tape
scallop punch
circle cutter {or punch}
my download
link with other download

directions:
print download on white cardstock, cut each saying in a circle.  punch out scallops.  double-side tape the saying to the yellow scallop.  open twizzlers, decide to take off red or purple {only 5 colors fit in the pretzel bag}.  put twizzlers in pretzel bag, then put coins in.  fold over open bag in the back and double-side tape it down.  turn over and double-side tape the scalloped saying to the front.  ta-da!!

{oh! and because of this … no judgment please on any blurry, mis-lighted photos!  the images on the viewfinder
are blurry and i won’t even try to describe what my screen looks like when trying to edit them!}

Happy St. Paddy Pat’s!

    Tracie, these are great! Do you have a certain brand shape cutter you prefer. I am just starting to get my craft on and I don’t want to purchase a dud. I just had my son’s 6th birthday campout party, wonderful and exhausting at the same time. Thank you for any hints you send my way. I hope you are feeling good. Hugs from FL.

  9. I actually made these for Saint Patricks Day. I LOVED the idea, and I LOVE your heart and blog as a whole. Quick question, who designed your site and branding?! I am very interested. Thank you.

    Love, Aurora
