spring break :: 2010 {post one}
It’s very rare I get a photo of myself with my girls … and I’m rather lovin’ this one!

So we’re on spring break. The little girls get 2 weeks {as they do every year}, but miss Tay only gets 1 … and it’s the week after the little girls. I’d planned to pull Taylor out of school for the first two weeks, but in the end, she decided it was best not to miss school at the risk of falling behind {as was the situation with our January trip}. While I’m so sad not to have her with us … I’m so proud of her for making this hard decision.
Will she miss vacationing on her spring break? Not to worry! She’ll be joining us in a week or so and then I’m having the little girls miss school for the week of Taylor’s break. See? It all works out! ‘Specially for mama, who loves her vacations! ;)

Lovin’ the girls new flip-flops! Although the baby has a harder time in flips because of her curly toes {surgery on them in about a month}.
The giant aquarium is a perfect meandering spot for my girls. I have to giggle when they’re naming off all the fish and sea life, while passerby’s next to us look at them incredulously! Pretty cute!
This can pretty much be summed up as “the sugar dance.”
Seriously … when did these girls get so big?!?
And the last bit of fun to share with you today … rock climbing!!

Today is Piper’s eighth birthday! And we’ve got lots of fun treats planned for her … can’t wait to share!

I love when you post vacation pictures! Looks like y’all are having a BLAST and I’m so happy for you. Hate that Taylor isn’t with you for the first part of vacay but that will make her arrival even more sweet. Kudos to her for making the big/hard decision to stay in school while you’re gone.
So excited to see how the birthday celebration goes. Knowing your attention to detail I have a feeling it’s gonna be AMAZING!

mama, you look great! your girls are adorable. my hubbie and i joke that there’s no proof that the kids are ours because we’re not in any pics with them! looks like a vacation full of memories in the making.
