right b’tween

She cries easily … and frequently.

She’s moody.

She’s emotional.

She’s quarrelsome.

Her big heart has turned a bit too selfish for my liking.

She’s fussy about her hair. And the clothes she wears.

She quietly asks if I think she’s pretty.

She’s ten next week.

She’s my Piper and,

She’s right b’tween.

Join me at the MODsquad today as I share a resource to help us be intentional and stay accountable as we walk down ‘tween-ager lane …

Right ahead of you, but all the words are familiar with my last baby! Well who isn’t a baby and is almost taller than me, but still that young sweet girl (at times) and others is a a young woman trying to figure things out, her little brain is going crazy, I can see it in her eyes. Honestly my heart aches when I see it, because the inner fight is going on in there and I am doing my best to guide her through it………… gently, kindly, and most of all lovingly:) Even when the hug isn’t wanted it really is..I’m with you girl! This is a rough rapid to guide through We’ll make it:)

Such a hard age :-( I think that book looks great & I look forward to hearing about your dates. Having you for a mom is such a blessing. She is going to blossom like the gorgeous flower she already is.

Oh so good to hear that! My ten year old seems to be leaving the “golden” years. It is so glad to know that I am not the only one dealing with the mood swings. Love your post!
