true love waits …

Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example
for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

1 Timothy 4:12

I am incredibly thankful Taylor has made a commitment to stay pure until marriage.

If it’s possible … I’m even that much more thankful that she’s sweet on someone who’s made the same commitment.

Navigating these territories is not an easy feat … at any age, let alone as a teenager!  But she feels strongly about this … and what’s so great to see is that she’s able to bring it up in conversation when she needs to know how someone else feels about it.

I continue to be amazed at God’s character developing inside of her and I’m excited to watch as it continues to unfold.

She is a beautiful girl who must have been raised to know how special she truly is. I love watching God mold and shape these kids he’s blessed us with, don’t you? These are great pics that show her promise to Him.

Love that they have made this commitment and are not only strong in it but proud of it. And seriously? Could they be a better looking couple? I think not!

    incredibly encouraging. =)
i have an almost-13-year-old. she and i have a pretty open relationship, as in she knows she can ask anything and she’s gonna get a straight answer. THIS one hasn’t come up officially. she knows we live by peculiar standards as far as the rest of the world is concerned. she knows she wants to wait until marriage. i guess she just hasn’t come right out and made such a bold OUTWARD commitment. not one that the world can see. taylor’s inner strength & spiritual fortitude is impressive. we wish you both all the blessings that come from such a good choice, not to mention that comes from supporting someone who’s made such a good choice. (kudos to dating someone who is her equal too. sharing the same moral standards makes it easier to stand up for what’s right.) have a blessed week. please give taylor a big high-five for me & my mini-me, k? we are grateful for her example. =)

That is the PERFECT bible quote for these love-birds! What an example of faith and love they will be to their peers!!! You’ve gotta show the rest of photos from their “session”— talk about a beautiful couple—inside and out. xoxoxoxo

    love that!
I had a purity ring that I wore on my pinky that my parents gave to me when I began dating. It was so neat to be able to slip it off on the day of my wedding and give it to my husband – what a gift!
